After watching The Mule the other day, another film popped up with the same name...an Aussie film so lets get into it coz they normally either suck or theyre great.
Basic story is young bloke gets railroaded into swallowing drugs to get them back into the country and cops put him in custody until he passes them. He fights to hold them in. Intriguing plot hey!

Monsters of Man
Low budget action sci-fi
Bunch of Doctors without borders get lost in the jungle and come across a drug cartel village. At the same time a shady military operation has just sent in 4 terminator type robots to kill off the cartel and all witnesses.
Cool special effects, acting was not as nearly bad as I was expecting. CGI is flawless, lots of gore. Free on Tubi 👍

Never Sleep Again - The Elm Street Legacy
4-5 hour long documentary on everything you ever wanted to know about the series from the first one right up to Freddy vs Jason. Cast interviews, Wes Craven, drama, scripts and all that sort of stuff. Took me a week to get through it all, but it was so interesting.
That famous scene in part one when the girl gets dragged up the ceiling was filmed the same way they shot the video for Memory Remains, with that spinning room effect, and people got electrocuted when they poured in the fake blood and the machine was put off balance and went haywire. Cool stuff.

He also has a cameo appearance as himself in part 6 doing an anti-drug commercial that plays on one of the kids tvs before they get killed.
He is the only guy who didn't sit down for an interview for this documentary. They used some clips from shows or something with him when he was younger, but everyone else laughs it off saying he's too big now for their little documentary. It was made in 2010, so I guess he was too busy making a shity pirate movie or something.
Alice Cooper as Freddys dad in part 6 was something I always thought was a great cameo, but it was neat to see AC sitting down and really discussing that role and how much he was honored to be chosen for the part.

Went to watch John Wick 4 in the cinema yesterday, pfft very dull and it’s like they had so much time to fill, so they filled it all with unnecessary fighting scenes. Part if the film takes place in Paris and it was not logical at all how they went about it, cause i know Paris and i know how close and far the locations are
And Bill Skarsgard’s acting wasn’t convincing at all.

Space Jam: A new legacy
It gets pretty bad reviews but my daughter (6) liked it. I liked it too, maybe even more then the firstone. The part where James Lebron is Robin, Bugs Bunny is batman, Daffy Duck is Superduck and Porky pig is ... well Porky pig is awesome :-)
There are so many WB characters in the background so you actually watch the background more then the movie. THere's Kong, Batman, Robin, The Joker, Iron Giant, and A LOT more

This one was pretty funny. The Rocks character was a bit annoying, but it was tolerable. The story was a bit weak and predictable, but it was still a fun watch.

Took the kids and my nephew to go see Super Mario Bros tonight. It was fantastic. It deserves all the money it's earning. Some really funny stuff and would definitely recommend that you get toasted before watching. Saw it on the huge IMAX screen, great experience.

1922 based on a Stephen King novella. It's good but the novella is way better. Some scenes are in the novella way more detailed and the book has a different (way better) ending.

Saw it on the huge IMAX screen, great experience. 10/10 I was considering watching it a couple of weeks again but ended up watching dungeons and dragons, which was also fun. lately i have been playing with the idea of buying a console so that i play it again. It was big part of my childhood but at the same time i am worried i would either get bored quickly and not enjoy it as much as I thought i would, or get soo hooked to playing it haha. |
