Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - Amazing movie, maybe the best I've seen this year. Incredible perfomances from the main cast
A Quiet place part II - Loved the first installment, not so much the second one. Too bad
All Quiet on the Western Front - Good movie, a little too long and a little boring at times,but still good

Nope - not a bad film, had a few laughs in it. when you go in not expecting much it's nice to be surprised. 3.5/5

The Dorm - a Russian movie that's pretty heavy to watch. great acting, some characters were down right awful and made your skin crawl.

The Wonder - good performances and gorgeous setting and cinematography, not a fan of the score telling me how to feel. Dunno what was the point of the framing device.

My kid picked some random Werewolf movie to watch the other night and I was pretty impressed. Very funny "who done it" style horror comedy. Never heard of it, or the game it's based on.

Wow 😥 the eyes got a bit salty there. The hardest part to watch for me was the "Shadows" trying to stop her from going in the school that day. Beautiful little story. Doesn't take much to fuck with my emotions these days, especially when dealing with these kind of things.

Yeah me too, my gf was crying subtlety throughout the whole thing, and the moment you referred to also made me weep. I generally can’t see shit like that after becoming a father. |

Troll on Netflix. Impressive Norwegian monster movie. Downside is that they borrow a lot from the story of other monster films. A crazy scientist noone believes but turns out to be right (Godzilla). Some action scenes are from Kong.
All in all I still give it a 7. The movie is Norwegian and some people (Americans) don't like reading subtitles. So unless you know Norwegian or can read subtitles, this is not for you.

A Private War - true story about a journalist, Rosemount Pike is great. 4/5 I'm looking forward to Oppenheimer next year. edit: feck I meant to post in the movie thread 🙃

I like Adam Driver but don't think I'll see this at the movies. so far I want to see Guardians 3 and Oppenheimer... and maybe Dune 2 cause I saw the first one on the big screen. though I must admit I fell asleep for half of it 😄
