Deep Blue Something were pretty decent but this is the only song that is ever heard/mentioned:
A bit more indie but The Bravery seemed to be quite a big deal on the back of the whole The Killers American bands sounding British/mid-'00s resurrection of New Order and The Cure scene and 'An Honest Mistake' got a heck of a lot of airplay, for about three weeks. I don't think that second album was ever released in Europe their debut was pretty decent. The last Bravery related news I heard was that Sam Endicott co-wrote Shakira's 'She Wolf', so there we go.
I dig how the front two seem to have a cool punk appropriate look and the other three look like a Strokes cover band.

So they're worth checking out a bit more? I've seen The Bravery's name but hadn't heard their music until now. The song kinda sounds like a mix between Blondie and early U2 to me. |

This is probably my favorite song in this category by the way: One of the best songs ever written! When that song was new, I listened to it while packing my stuff and actually ran away from home, I was about 12 and my life took on a whole new wonderful path. Go figure. Never looked back from that day onwards. |
