I find it hard to believe that Roose didn't know that would happen. He knows how crazy Ramsay is and he kept teasing him with the baby.

One of the trailers had the two flayed bodies displayed and a video I watched talked about the possibility, so it wasnt a surprise for me.

If I have one take away from that episode, it's that I would have been a draft dodger in medieval times.

Great episode. I think hardhome is still the series best action sequence, but this was more edge of your seat due to the characters and stakes involved. Classic Razor. Ugh, I've almost considered discussing it with him...somebody tell me to not waste my time. Don't waste your time. His head is so far up his own arse. He has the critical insight of any old random Reddit user and acts like he's fucking André Bazin (if you don't know who that is it's because your intellect and standards are lower than mine, thus any opinion against me is objectively wrong. Get on my level peasants)

So what is the opinion of the finale? I thought it was a great episode. All parts of story are finally now moving significantly forward. EDIT: for some reason I wrote the word 'opposite' instead of episode. It's what happens when I get up at 5am to watch football.

I thoroughly enjoyed. Not as epic as last week. Certain things confirmed as was suspected for some time. A lot of goodbyes to characters and setting up for what's to follow I guess. More's the point.. what the hell shall I do next monday evening??

I thought it was great, especially the first 15-20 minutes, super intense. I still don't care about Dany or Sansa, although that might be because I don't think the actresses are very good. Sucks about Margaery, I thought she was a great character. Also I bet feminists are going crazy over that scene with The Mountain.

I tell you the one character I really don't care about - fucking Samwell Tarly. At that point we hadn't seen most of the main characters when that prick and his missus (with her annoying baby) appear on screen, all I could think was "for fake sake no one cares about this guy", I was dreading another episode where his BS story takes up half an episode and we'd be left in the dark about everything else. So glad it didn't go that way,

I though it was one of the best episodes of a TV show ever. Pure perfection. That beginning scene is what made the entire episode. The tension built to a perfect crescendo. Then you have Sam's almost orgasmic reaction at first seeing the library (anyone else notice the globes from the shows opening credits hanging in the middle of the room)? Aryas reveal, Bran's reveal, THE KING IN THE NORTH, Septa's cruel fate of being repeatedly raped over and over until she dies by a black slime monster, Dany FINALLY heading west.....can't wait to see what next season brings!

It was a very good episode, but like I said over on the other side, something just isn't sitting right with me.
I'd put episode 9 over episode 10. I'm not really hyped for next season yet, but I'm sure it'll come.

Those last 2 episodes were awesome, the first 20 minutes of episode 10 are among the best moments in the whole series, the music going along with it gave me goosebumps. Predictions for next season: The whole North will be rallying behind Jon Snow, but eventually Little Finger will get word on Jon's heritage and even Sansa's gonna turn on him.

I kind of agree, but I think it's because 9 was more of a spectacle where as 10 set a lot of things straight + it had to build up for whats to come. Next season could either be the best one in the series or they will butcher it completely with more drama bullshit within the main characters, I've kinda grown tired of that. Just end it all with the build up and a massive battle leaving everyone biting the dust... Except a naked Daenerys

Yeah they're setting up some hints for Sansa being jealous of Jon and I hope it doesnt play out that way. It just feels wrong.

Yeah they're setting up some hints for Sansa being jealous of Jon and I hope it doesnt play out that way. It just feels wrong. For Sansa to turn on Jon she would have to align herself with Littlefinger....a man that makes her cringe. Littlefinger may be a master at words but you can't talk someone into loving you, that has to come from a genuine place. Also, a big part of the reason Sansa wasn't so keen on Jon before was that he wasn't a legitimate Stark. Once it's revealed he is, I think that may cause her to see him in a new light and actually feel a closer bond with him. Also, Sansa spent much time with Littlefinger, she learned the game well. She knows he doesn't control The Vale....that weird little boy does.....that's where Littlefinger gets his power. She could easily take that power away with one advantageous marriage and a catalyst for her actually being willing to put her neck on the line and do this is the realization that the Stark line can survive through Jon and making his hold on the North stronger will benefit her and her family in the long run.

And unless we discover a secret marriage, still a bastard as well.

What do you guys think about that? I think they were married.
Seems like it changes pretty much nothing if they weren't. He's still a Snow and half Stark. Dany could legitimize him I suppose, but why would she do that? He would be first in line to the throne if she did, the only reason I see for her doing that is if she were to marry him, and that just seems a bit too storybook of an ending to me. Am I wrong on this?
