I can PM you a better leak if you want. The one I got is 256kbps, or at least it said it was, sounds good anyway.
This album is incredible, some of the best stuff they've ever done. All the songs on the album are better than the two singles they released by a mile.
My fav songs were Pray, The Shooting Star and Magma.

Yep, I was blown away, I'm confident this will eventually be considered their best, at least for me. Every song is excellent and brings something new to the experience, tons of stuff they haven't done before and it really works. Stranded and Silvera are the only "standard Gojira songs", they work great as singles and are put in precise spots in the tracklist, but the rest of the album is the real deal. Liberation was kinda eeh... I was pumped for one last new Gojira song and it ended up being some kind of hidden track that was not hidden, it does work as an ending though so I'm okay with it.

Holy shit, I literally just downloaded the album and I'm about 2 minutes into the first track but I'm shocked and impressed, just because it's actually different than anything they've done before, it sounds more like Sleep or Om than Gojira.

I'm glad they changed things up, it sounds fresh and exciting. As much as I loved the previous album it sorta sounded a bit like "more of the same".
My only problem with this album is there should have been more of it. The little one minute song Yellow Star has some kickass bass playing that they could have developed into a full song. I also agree with magyp, the last song was kinda a letdown. At only just longer than 40 minutes, I wish they had put more or longer songs on the album.

Been reading a lot of reactions to the new album online. A lot of people are disappointed that it's not BRUTAAALLL enough. I like the more melancholic tone and atmosphere and hope Gojira actually continue with this style or develop it even further.

This may be my favourite album from them since FMTS, I don't care if it's not brutal, the least 'brutal' songs are the best songs on the album imo. They actually do something new.

I'm a bit disappointed.
I mean, it's a good album and Ireally enjoyed the laid back, relaxing atmosphere but at the same time I NEED a bit more bone crushing songs from Gojira. I would gladly trade one or two songs with two heavy, headbanging songs.
That is the only disappointing thing so ar. Otherwise it's a good album.

Gotta say the album isn't great, i can here elements of the Way of All Flesh though. The only stand out tracks are Stranded, Silvera and Lowlands imo. The rest of it is very experimental.

I saw Gojira in Helsinki last night. It was definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen. They played in a club that takes about 1500 people, and the energy was insane. The new songs worked very well live and the old songs were crushing as always. If they play anywhere near you, I strongly suggest you go, because they're without a doubt one of the best live (metal) acts right now.

Just had a Meet and Greet with the band. Also got to see their soundcheck.
Great experience.
I stumbled out words. Fek me. Mario and Christian were the easiest members to talk to.
When I told Joe that Gojira had overtaken Metallica for my favourite band I could tell he was almost emotional.
