That would be killer!

Yes! Love these low key performances he gets involved with, and its pretty clear he enjoys it.
Another song with his daughter would be nice.

I wish shows like these were recorded professionaly, but I can also understand why they aren't. Can't wait, I would love to attend something like this. Enjoying a good brew in a quiet environment, with James performing acoustic songs ? I can't think of anything better in the realm of entertainment.

If it's money they are trying to raise, I really don't get why these shows aren't pro recorded and sold.

Yes, but they could release a few songs on the radio and have the royalties donated to make up for the loss, or live stream it for a few bucks.

But once it's in digital form, it will leak/get ripped and be freely available on the internet.

but so does everything else. I know, but you're asking why they won't pro record and release it to make money for the charity and I have explained why. They wouldn't make any money. So they won't release it digitally.

Great news. I'm hoping for Mama Said and would love it if Het writes a song for it

So they won't release it digitally. I don't think that has much to do with it actually, they would still make some money off it. I don't think they want this to be something huge over blown thing that they can sell, just a small innocent show to make a contribution to a good cause. I kind of like that it isn't "official" like in that it's not really marketed like a Metallica thingy thing. That said I'm also sad that we don't get pro quality of these awesome performances.
