I just came back from Tokyo. I was there for 3 weeks and it was my second time (first time I was there for 5 weeks...I made a thread on the old forum about it shortly before I went there). I absolutely love that city and the kindness of the people. I feel so secure and at peace there. What was the reason of the stay? Business or just vacation? And I agree with Mob, show us some pictures! I've used booking.com several times, it's reliable, you just need to check the people's ratings and read their reviews We've picked out our stays already, but I was looking around on the web to see if there are other/better websites for booking, and as Alan-P already mentioned, some hotels we can book through their own website.

Hey 6string, I always use Travelocity or Expidia for booking, you get great deals, I have stayed at super classy places for under 100 a night using those sites to book.

I might go to Japan one day, but my girlfriend isn't a big fan, so I may have to persuade her a little.

Didn't see any of those. Wasn't it you Alan-P who recommended me not to fly with Japan airlines, because of the lack of room for your legs? I did fly with them anyway though, 'cause they seemed to have great food (among other things), and I'm glad I did. The food was the best airplane food I've ever had.

Yeah that would have been me And agreed the food was great. Especially the never ending supply of noodle pots and Kirin you could call for.

When I was in China there were a lot of posters with pictures of men on the wall. I thought they were presidential candidates or something so I asked my Chinese guide: 'when do you have elections?' He replied: 'evely molning and evely evening'.

Did you go to Showpark? Couldn't say I liked it. Is that a park where guys meet up and show each other their cocks? Sure sounds like it.

Flights/hotels are so much cheaper if you are leaving on a Monday rather than booked towards the end of a week in Europe, it's about a £200 difference in some cases lol.

Would love to visit Greece and Egypt one day... ancient history is so interesting. I would definetely recommend those two. Been to Athens, saw the Akropolis, been to Luxor at the valley of kings. It was astonishing. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the pyramids though because they are near Cairo and it was like 600km away.
