I've been enjoying it for the most part. It is definitely not for people looking for some hooky radio tunes like Sober, Prison Sex, etc.

This is Tool we're talking about, right? Well, if you want to include their non hooky radio singles, it's not like that either. Long moody brooders, like the first 3 songs released. There is one jamming track though that is like their older material. Even then it's like 15 minutes.

Yeah I gave it a try but personally I don't like it. I didn't mind 7empest but even that just drags on and on. Snooze fest.

7empest was fantastic. Rest of the album is a bit meh. Danny's drumming was fantastic throughout though.

If you wanted to see what the inside of the deluxe edition album with the screen in it. Pretty cool. Not something I'd buy though. I already jacked the download code so don't bother. HEH!

Wow, that's a cool package choice. As a graphic designer, this gets me rock hard, but, the inside looks more like a Ghost album.

New Tool song reminded me of the new A Perfect Circle stuff. Very atmospheric and moody, and honestly, kinda boring. They may have gone too far up their own progressive ass.

I don't like Tool. Too progressive for me, I prefer repetetive, generic hardrock. Like Five liter fruit Punch and the likes.

This album is released at the right time for me. Those calm, dreamy, therapautic, hypnotic repetition of riffs and melodies in the songs (some would refer to as dragging) are exactly what I needed.
Apart from the interludes, this album is a 10/10 for me. I never liked their interludes and this one does not offer anything interesting with regards to those songs.
But the rest is just amazing for me.
I have hard time listening to anything else since its release.
Pneuma, Invincible and 7empest are mind blowing as far as I'm concerned.

Must be stated, if it hasn't, skip/remove all tracks under 10 mins. They put these pointless interludes to beef the tracklist to 10 tracks. Disregard them. Listen to them once if you want, but you probably never will again after that.
