Anyone else really like the production on the new song ?
I liked the last two albums but they were a little overproduced, The Hunter especially, this one seems to have a much more raw sound.

I actually feel bad for Brent sometimes. I believe (don't quote me on that) he stated somewhere that he's taking drugs (primarily weed) to overcome his depressions.

Funny thing is I'm pretty sure "Cold Dark Place" was supposed to be the title of the WInter EP, or was atleast it was a song on it. It was supposed to be full of trippy 'Brent' songs that didn't suit the vibe of OMRTS. I really hope he releases it though. The record store day thing kinda worries me though, I hope it's a proper release and not some 'limited availability' release. |

The second song from the album, "Show Yourself" has leaked. Not as good as the first song but probably works better in context of the album. Hopefully the rest of the album is more like Sultans Curse though.
Also, apparently Troy and Brent are releasing something at the end of the year.

I think it's a good track. Not as in-your-face as Sultan's Curse, but I like it nonetheless. A bit more hard rock than metal.

I just don't think their voices are the type to carry a song like that. It needs someone like Chris Cornell to me.

So recently I've been really enjoying this band and all their stuff but those two songs are pretty disappointing. I mean Sultan's Curse has a decent riff but it doesn't go anywhere and gets really uninteresting and the solo is really lame and Show Yourself is some crappy alt rock thing that sounds like it was made in 2004...I hope this album is better than those two songs. I mean they haven't put any bad albums out yet so it can very well be good but from what I've heard I'm a bit nervous that this might be ungood (im too tired to think of any good word to but here so yeah whatever you know what I mean).
