Sounds lovely. But I am hoping for a song in the same style as The Hunter or The Sparrow on this record.

Apparently the album is called "Emperor of Sand" and that song is called "Sultan's Curse".

Awesome! The main/verse riff reminds me of Black Tongue.

It's basically Black Tongue with a bit of CTS. Lovely.

Well it sounds like Mastodon, I like it. Wasn't fan of the solo though, mostly because of the vocals on top of it, I can't stand that

Sounds very good, Brent singing is always a plus, unless it's live.

Their last two albums have been great but I feel like this album just might have the staying power that CTS has. They've usually stayed pretty silent about their personal lives but they're pretty open this time around. I think that will come through in the music and I think it already does in the first song.

I swear Brent just sings random syllables in his second verse. And I also have no idea what anyone says in the second half the song. I need lyrics for real

Nice, have been waiting for this release and that song does not disappoint.
Will it better Hardwired?

Nice, not too long. Looks like they like the songwriting style length wise of the last two albums. That's fine with me.

I was actually kind of hoping for a huge grand epic like The Czar or The Last Baron. :/

I swear Brent just sings random syllables in his second verse. And I also have no idea what anyone says in the second half the song. I need lyrics for real They added them to the description. "Tired and Lost No One to Trust Who Is There to Give the Push All I Have Learned Straighten the Curve Like a Circle to Return The long embrace The smell of dirt and roses Under the sun No sign of breath or water I fall asleep under blankets of stars Ice Hit You Cold Heat Of Surprise Bending Mind Can't Realize Faith Is In Me End I Can See Tears Are Strong As Ten Thousand Tongues My Sweet Mirage I Bathe In Sacred Waters I Kiss The Sky Floating In Sultans Daughters Memories Of Loved Ones Only Passing Me By Oceans Of Sand And Rust Give Way And Yield My Wake They're Waiting Inside They're Waiting To Wash Your Eyes Out Their Hands Are Alive Alive With A Fervent Anger Your Feet Have Been Tied And Your Tongue In Your Hand Death Of A Thousand Ravens You're Down On Your Knees Blind As The Ancient Kingdom Relive The Ages Of The Moon Reeling The Water Close To You"

It sound like they've gone back to their old sound, Once More was a bit more progressive imo.

Brent is either high as a kite all the time, or batshit crazy.
Hell of a guitar player though.
