Some cool parts in there. Needs trimming. A good effort but not in the pantheon of great.

I thought it was pretty good when it first came out. Not quite album-worthy material, but good. I played it recently for the first time in over a year thinking that it would sound refreshing and new again and honestly found it kind of boring. It did not age well for me. I really hope, assuming the upcoming album is basically going to be Death Magnetic 2, that most of the material is going to be considerably better than LoS.

Fun song to jam on and I think I can say that I do like it but the lyric lets it down for me.
I thought we'd moved on from the juvenile stuff when Ride the Lightning came out.
Certainly don't want (or expect) to see it on the album.

The bad:
- the slow chorus

Lords Of Summer... while I love summer, my feelings towards this track are the other way around, one of the worst songs by Metallica... IMO, naturally.
