George Martin has died. Rest in peace.

Just to make it clear if needed, this isn't George RR Martin. He's still alive and not finishing ASOIF.
RIP Sir Martin. One hell of a producer.

Played a huge part in the Beatles story and of producing popular music overall. A true master of his profession.
I recall him saying one of the things he felt he missed out on of all the things he was a part of, was not being asked to produce John's Imagine album. I always wondered what it would have sounded like had George been involved at that time.
Big talent gone, but at age 90 he had a good innings and life.
