I'm thinking about picking up a guitar and playing some tunes, maybe even starting a band, but I need to start small. Any reccomendations for easy songs by the band?

For Whom the Bell Tolls for sure. That's probably a great place to start. Its all power chords and most of them ring out.

Also, maybe after For Whom the Bells Tolls, check out The Outlaw Torn. That's another easy song.

Anyway, I learned the D and A chords, and I can play the main riff of Communication Breakdown by Led Zeppelin. Hope to try one of these soon. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

It's just a matter of moving up and down the fret board. Was it stylised as "- Human" on the S&M disk? I know that on my iPod (rip) it was just "Human" and I ripped it off the CD.
I mean, I dont actually care but it's cool to know.

You should never, ever trust any mp3 tags, if you didn't edit them yourself. In cases where there's room for error, they're wrong more often than not.

The back cover of the S&M album had a photograph of the setlist in short form. For example: The Thing That Should Not Be became Thingy. So Minus Human became - Human and I guess a lot of people ignored it, even though James announces the title as Minus Human.

These... and The Unforgiven was pretty easy IMO. And Through the Never I wouldn't lump Never in that category, there's no way a beginner could down pick that song all the way through. It's a great rehearsal song though

Nothing else to do for 9 months Little baby Alan, playing Through The Never on a ukulele with his tiny bell-end inside his mothers womb. That's some "Who's got talent" stuff right there
