Does anyone know the details regarding Metclub now that it's free? I signed up back in 2009 for the Metclub pre-sale and Metclub line up at shows, and I think I had it for a couple of years, until 2012 I believe. I stopped because they weren't really playing shows near me.
So, I know there are Legacy fans, are they only considered Legacy if they were paying members at the time of the club's change over?
I know Metallica will be coming around my way again and I want to guarantee rail!!

You're legacy if you were in the club for at least two years if I remember correctly.

Every time there is a presale and early entery here in Quebec, someone fucks and its a big mess. For the DM tour, the presale code was the same for everyone and some radio guys said the code on the air, you can imagine how that worked out, the early entery line was longer then the regular line, no joke, we arrived around 5, doors opened at 7 and we only got in around 8, Metallica were about to go on but people were still waiting to get in so the show started a bit late.

I'm legacy too But I dont think it means squat to be honest. Its open for all now, thats why everyone was/is pissed that the M&G is now virtually a huge lottery compared to an exclusive comp. This is how I understand, maybe I am wrong.  |

Yeah, I honestly just care about any kind of presale for tickets and if there's any extra lines at the shows still? I don't mind going early though.

I really miss the days when you could set up camp infront of the ticket booths a couple of days befor the show went on sale. You allways got tickets and had a blast with friends eating take out and doing nothing for a few days, it was like urban camping. Stupid internet ruined everything.
and at least you had bit of notice to fundraise some cash. Now its like ''Hey, we're playing in your town on this date, tickets go on sale in an hour, are $150 each, and will sell out in five minutes, good luck!'' Any poorish fans out there never stand a chance to get tickets.

It was peaks and troughs in the place. 2000-04 was awesome. Tons of chat, Good people. Lots to discuss. When I re-joined last year - dead as a dodo.
