I'll post the same thing I posted on MetFor.
I went to the show in Helsinki yesterday. Awesome gig. You could tell that they were having a lot of fun.
Michael Monroe (ex. Hanoi Rocks, arguably Finland's biggest rock star ever) joined the band for a few songs. He played harmonica on The Pretender and Best Of You and sang on two covers (Miss You and Let There be Rock). It might not have been everyone's cup of tea, but I thought it was good fun.
Oh, and Allison Mosshart from The Kills joined the band and sang on Laa De Daa and The Sky Is a Neighborhood, and Dave hinted that she sings on the new album.

watched their set at Glastonbury last night. Highly entertaining interaction with crowd. Golden moment as Dave breaks Adeles swearing record on stage at Glastonbury with the crowd then demanding 2 more fucks afterwards. I thoroughly enjoyed watching :)

A lot of people on the FF subreddit have been getting their copies early, as much as it pains me I think I'm gonna hold off and wait for mine to arrive. General consensus there so far also seems to be that this is a top tier album for the band. This wait is going to be almost as hard as the wait for my copy of Hardwired was..

BMus1 I'm sure you're all over it already, but Lars has interviewed Dave on his Beats1 Radio show It's Electric. Haven't listened yet so I'm not sure how good it is.

You have to download iTunes and there you can listen to it either on air (there are also rebroadcasts) or on demand. For the latter you'd have to subscribe to Apple Music.

Honestly I hadn't listened to the show before, but I'm going to go back and listen to all of them now. It was super interesting and just easy to listen to. I'm going to listen to the Fidelman one today.

I've listened through the album a few times now; It took a few spins to digest everything but I've gotta say I'm reeaaally liking it. Run is definitely among my favourite FF songs ever already, I love the groove to Make it Right, and I can tell The Sky is a Neighborhood will be a fun live singalong song. Sunday Rain was another standout to me, Paul really has a great feel on the drums. The title track gave me some serious Pink Floyd vibes which I thoroughly enjoyed. I don't think I'm ready to give the album a proper rating yet, but it's a really strong release imo.

The last song from the C&G sessions was released yesterday. It's pretty cool, it has a different vibe than the rest of the album so I can see why it was left off.

To me Concrete and Gold is their worst album to date.
1. Synths are too much on the foreground. There's too much electronics for a rock-band. 2. The songs aren't catchy like we are used to. 3. the songs are sleep inducing and even bad.
This record should have been called Concrete and Shit.
