The only thing Dave Grohl is doing at this point is giving me more proof as to why this is the best band ever. I was dying for 7 minutes watching this last night. Granted it was at 1:00am, but it's still just as funny now. Foo Fighters have taken a ihateus after every album since ESP&G honestly, and every time something awesome has come out of it (TCV, Sound City) so I welcome this! Plus we got a ridiculous video. |

Yeah The Foos are nearly the perfect band.
They just need to not put out quite so much MOR and rock a bit more like the St. Cecilia EP and Wasting Light.
They all seem like 5 nice down to earth guys and don't take their band too seriously and have awesome videos and are genuinely entertaining and funny.

It's messed up how they have been around for 20 years or something. I remember after Nirvana, when the Foo Fighters came around I thought ''Gee, this won't last, Dave is riding his moment of fame to the bank, I was not so keen on them when they came out, but over the years they have put out so many great songs and videos that you can't argue that they are not one of the greatest bands around and still kicking it.
Their songs that move me, really fucking move me. I can't imagine a world without this great band. I would love to see them live one day, any news on any tours?

It looks like they're going to be doing Sonic Highways II in Europe, given the Passport stuff and what Dave has said about the series. Personally, I'm all for a normal album at this point, since SH was not their strongest album as a whole (even though the series was great).

I see Sonic Highways get a lot of crap, but it's honestly one of my favourite FF albums. Maybe it's because I didn't really get into the band until Wasting Light, but SH is one of the records I come back to most often. Has a lot of catchy songs imo. I thought Saint Cecilia was a stronger release though, but I don't mind that the next full length will basically be SH Part 2.

Wasted Light was a strong album and I liked the Sonic highways project but since the debut album you have to work through the filler to find the highlights New song is pretty ace though. |
