I started watching Manifest on Netflix. I had never heard about it, I just started watching. 2 episodes in and I'm lovin' it. A real mindfuck this is.
A family returns from a vacation on Jzmaica in two seperate planes. 1 plane gets home 'normally' and the otherone flies through a storm. When the second plane lands 3 hours and 29 minutes later it turns out that the plane (and all people on it) have been missing for 5 years ...
What happened? Aliens? Weapon of some sort? We just don't know ...
Ofcourse, the lives of the people who were gone for '5 years' have drastically changed. They hear voices ...

Aunty Donna's Coffee Cafe: Love this comedy troop and love this show. Check out "...Big Ol House of Fun" on Netflix for a taste of the humour
Search Party (s1): Funny and engaging, will be downloading the other seasons today
Fleishmann Is In Trouble: Moody drama that I really enjoyed. Even if I did want to punch some of the characters sometimes for being so fucking unlikeable.
Ed Sheeran - The Sum Of It All: Aware of his music but not really a fan but I love music docs. Surprisingly open, honest and moving. Less about the music and more about the man.

Rewatching Roseanne: still holds up today. my 11 year finds it funny too which is surprising and cool.
Halfway through episode 1 of s04 of Succession. I'd forgotten just how much of a c##t Logan Roy is. After that it'll be rewatching season1 to 3 of Barry to then go to s04.
Oh, finished Ted Lasso last week. Loved it. Silly show that is the TV equivalent of a hug.

Black mirror season 6, i鈥檓 a huge fan of this show, was quite happy to see they released it, i binged watched it all in one go hehe, didn鈥檛 connect much with the last 2 episodes as much as the first 3 but i still think it鈥檚 a wonderful show and has lots of eye openers on human behaviors and connections and on technology

I liked episode 3, it was very interesting for me, the character work is just great and the psychology behind it left me thinking about it.
I wasn't as engaged in 2, but it was nice.
So I got my episodes mixed up  a proper brief thoughts: S06 E01 路 Joan Is Awful - LOVED this. Brooker biting the hand that feeds is hilarious. Also thought this one to be the funniest and as that was my first introduction to Charlie Brooker (hilarious newspaper columns) it felt like a return to form. S06 E02 路 Loch Henry - Really enjoyed this. Didn't see the "twist" but the sense of isolation and claustrophobia was palpable. As someone who has watched this kind of doc on Netflix, it amused me. S06 E03 路 Beyond the Sea - Not bad. As I mentioned, saw the plot twist coming a mile off. Would have preferred that the ending event happened at the modway point so we could see how the two main characters then survived in such a small space together. S06 E04 路 Mazey Day - Ok. Not a very Black Mirror topic but I nice change of pace. S06 E05 路 Demon 79 - Loved it. The aping of 70s Hammer Horror graphics and tropes and the utterly bleak ending (with a tinge of love) was great. I think I enjoyed this more than Season 5, but it still isn't quite hitting the heights of the earlier seasons. |

My Mum and I have been watching The Lost Flowers Of Alice Hart, Sigourney Weaver is in it and she does a decent Aussie accent. I think it's viewing for women as most of the main characters are women but I could be wrong... maybe watch it with ya Mrs 馃槈

8 episodes of 'short' horror stories selected by Guillermo del Toro. With a lot of these stories I say to myself: hey, Stephen King could have wwritten this (in his prime). There are some H.P. Lovecraft stories in the show.
