Yes, Hockey is beautiful. Though watching sports, the West Minster Dog Show, fishing with Bob Izumi, those kind of shows, allows you to mentally drift in and out.

Getting back to the thread, Walking Dead has been dog shit this year. I know there's a sect of people that would likely say "It's always been dog shit", but I've never found that to be the case. Inconsistent as hell? Absolutely. But You're normally guaranteed a few fantastic episodes a season. Not this season though. It's just been tepid dogshit since the credits closed on the season premier.

Anyone still watching Homeland? The last few seasons have been really good, and the latest (season six, about halfway through now) is no exception. Real slow burning stuff, but quite gripping.

I checked out iZombie. It's about this cute chick who turns into a zombie, and then helps solve crimes since she gets visions from eating the brains of stiffs from the morgue she works at. Its like the show Bones, if detective Bones was a zombie trying to deal with being undead. Funny show, yet still serious enough to hold some drama.

I have become a bit obsessed with Netflix show Deadly Women and not sure why.. it is cheesy af dramatisations of women who murder but I find myself continuing to watch. The bf asked for reassurance that I wasn't looking for inspiration and ideas hah!

 You shoulda seen it! This motherfucker was 800 pounds and just had a heart attack. The doctor was like I need you to follow this diet so you can loose enough weight in a few months that you can get this bypass surgery. What does he do? Goes home and eats two large plates of fried rice when he gets home because fried rice isn't the same as regular rice that the doctor told him not to eat.....*facepalm*

Watched a few episodes of Black Mirror on Netflix. Great show, reminds me of the Twilight Zone or the X-Files kinda.
Pretty grim and depressing though.

Another great series of Homeland done and dusted, and this time the final episode didn't feel like a let down like the previous two. Gutted that Quinn is dead, but don't think they could've taken the character any further, particularly after what happened at the end of season five. Thankfully, Archer and Prison Break are back so I've something to watch every week for the next few months. |
