Doing shuffle on my iPad which is slightly different then my past iPod shuffle. Same stuff, but a bit more of everything.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Freaky Styley (Long Version) [Freaky Styley Deluxe Edition] Widespread Panic - Shut Up And Drive [Driving Songs X] Rage Against the Machine - Mindset's a Threat (s/t Deluxe) Nirvana - Drain You (Live) [Nevermind Deluxe] Metallica - Nothing Else Matters (you should know) Red Hot Chili Peppers - Animal Bar (Stadium Arcadium) Rage Against the Machine - Clear the Lane (s/t Deluxe) Grateful Dead - Playing in the Band (Live) [So Many Roads Box Set] Metallica - The Thing That Should Not Be (do i need to?) Radiohead - Idioteque (Kid A)
Wow...this list is worse. More Freaky Styley, I see. Mindset's a Threat came up AGAIN! The only things here that aren't on my iPod (last shuffle) are that grateful dead playing in the band since I never listen to them anymore and Idioteque because my Kid A CD wouldn't import onto my computer to sync for some reason.

The "it's almost Sunday" edition: Idlewild - Readers & Writers (when I first got this album, Post Electric Blues, I think I repeated thing son something like 10 times before getting to the next song. I was taken by this song immediately and six years still am) Pavement - Stare Rites of Spring - Hain's Point Placebo - Black Eyed Belle and Sebastian - Seymour Stein Robyn - Don't Fucking Tell Me What To Do Bloc Party - Helicopter Sunset Rubdown - Silver Moons The Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound Thelonius Monk - Boo Boo's Birthday (Take 2) (I can't remember if it's this version that references Dundee but 'mon anyway) also ty! Alan-P and Sic-Jes for the Sisters of Mercy recommendations! You dig?

Because it's Monday and I forgot to wake up for class because I was watching Fastlane but it's alright because we were just walking around a park: Foals - Black Gold Roky Erickson w/ Okkervil River - God is Everywhere Toro y Moi - Room for 1zone Thrice - Open Water (sounds well like Coldplay but Coldplay when they're on-fucking-form, one of those #deep post-rock bands in vocals + under 5 hour song mode and maybe a little like Denali too, perhaps?) Pavement - Raft Ryan Adams & The Cardinals - A Kiss Before I Go Sparks - Falling In Love With Myself Again The Gaslight Anthem - High Lonesome Fucked Up - The Chemistry of Common Life Dead Kennedys - Funland At The Beach And I listened to all of these songs too! Right now is Ryan Adam's (amazing) 'Wonderwall' cover <3 I've been listening to some Thelonious lately; he's pretty great. He's fantastic! I got really into him during high school then I stopped. Then I went crazy and bought like 10 albums in one go a few years later and now, a couple of years further along, I'm going through another phase. Haven't got round to listening yet, daddio.

I'm using my iPod, which only actually contains about a quarter of my iTunes library, but here goes:
Flying Colors "Bombs Away" Vektor "Fast Paced Society" Dio "Sacred Heart" Rush "Anagram (For Mongo)" Extinction A.D. "Black Omen" Three Days Grace "Landmine" Rush "Far Cry" Dio "Stand Up and Shout" Marty Friedman "Horrors" Vipassi "Gaia"
Not as good of a mix as I'd hoped, but there it is.

You guys have such interesting mixes. I have like the same 10 bands.
Polly - Nirvana (MTV Unplugged In New York) Stop Whispering - Radiohead (Pablo Honey) I Ain't Goin' Out Like That - Cypress Hill (Black Sunday) [Was listening to Dirty Window but paused to listen to this. Sounded so good.] Damage Case - Metallica (Garage, Inc) I Will - Radiohead (Hail To The Thief) The Outlaw Torn - Metallica (Load) Nervous - The New Mastersounds (Live in San Francisco) [The most obscure band I have in the mix here. Super funky and just cool jam. 12 minute song.] Jailhouse - Sublime (Sublime) Rage Against the Machine - Maggie's Farm (Renegades) [My favorite Rage song for a long time. Not anymore, but still a classic. Love it] Red Hot Chili Peppers - Hump de Bump (Stadium Arcadium)
Great list. Best one so far. Came in with a bigger variety (only 2 songs by the same artist). Love all these songs. Definitely on the long side of things (Maggie's at 7 min, Outlaw Torn at 10, and Nervous at 12!) Came up with a lot of my favorite songs by artists (I Ain't Goin' Out Like That, Nervous, Jailhouse, Maggie's Farm and Hump de Bump). If all my shuffles were this good, I'd always shuffle instead of listening to albums all the way through. Another thing to note, for the first two songs I was listening through St. Anger (the album) and just scrolling through my songs, but then I paused St. Anger and listened to these songs.
