WPB is my favorite these days. It has all the things that made the classic albums great but with a fresh modern sound.

Although WPB and Repentless had some good tunes kinda feel their last good album was Christ Illusion.

I wonder what Kerry King is up to, he will probably start another thrash band soon.

I'm not THAT familiar with Slayer, other than their "hits" and 3 of their classic albums, but I've always preferred their mid-tempo stuff (Seasons, and South) over Raining. Their music sounds pretty much the same for the most part to my ears, especially the singing. From what I've read Kerry King is already working with Bostaph on similar to Slayer.
They will re-unite (even with Lombardo) for one-off shows. They may even make a song or two every other year. That seems to be what some experimented bands/ artists will do from now on (Kiss). Many bands are not interested to be away tourng like crazy. Those days are over. It's not worth it economically nor from the point of view of mental health. The music industry is changing yet once again.
Take the case of Metallica: after endlessly touring behind st. Anger, Death Magnetic, and Hardwired, they have opted -- rightfully so -- to play fewer dates. Football stadiums in big cities with a no-repeat scheme with their high quality production. I wouldn't rule out the possibility for them to bring back a more stripped-down stage in a near future, though.
