Anyone have Sirius? They’re playing Bogota ‘99 in full right now, and they’ve been digging deep with demos and live versions since it started back up. I thought it wouldn’t be much better than shuffling my Metallica library, but the full shows and little song intros are making it worth the listen.
Side note: I realized how I listen to so many random shows from 2003 on, but 2000 and prior are only the bands’ official releases. This Bogota show isn’t that much tighter than the Rob-era Metallica. I think I got so used to S&M, Cunning Stunts, and Woodstock 99. The band’s tightness didn’t drop off as badly as I thought it did.
