I prefer the old testament. Agreed, gore and bloodshed are much more exciting.

Maybe not their best, but I really like The Formation of Damnation. Demonic is pretty sick as well.

I love them. I posted this before but I'll share again. I feel kinda lucky to see them at a very small, shitty metal bar in İstanbul on an unannounced occasion prior to the event day. While they were airborne, their promoter cancelled their concert without notifying the band. And when they landed, some people asked them to play at this bar instead and they agreed!
It was a short setlist but totally worth it. It was an experience to remember for life.
I don't have a favourite Testament album because I can't choose. I have a very soft spot for the Formation of Damnation (both for the song and the album).
Testament are a band that I often think like if had this particular song come from Metallica people would have lost their minds.

I think Testament are overlooked. I really don't know why.

This is good off their last album Another example of a song that would make people go nuts if released by Metallica. The riffs, the aggression and tightness are all awesome.

Great concert by Testament It's very telling the number of songs they played off NWO, probably their best album.
