So this is almost here.
Last time they did this, they had screens with fans faces around them and they covered House of the Rising Sun. So a time for something different, a surprise or 2.
With news that Greta Van Fleet are opening, makes me wonder if this will be a full electric night, no sit down acoustic tunes.
So do we get a new song from 71 Seasons?
If they decided to rejig a classic Met tune as an acoustic number what would you like to see them tackle? A stripped back acoustic version of Unforgiven III ?
Saw some of the things are auctioning too.
A cruise in one of James' rides from Peterson Museum would be amazing.

They posted the schedule a couple days ago and confirmed Metallica is doing two sets, so I’m expecting the half acoustic/half electric format to stay. I’m super excited to assumedly play Lux live for the first time.

Lars posted a pic on IG from his drum stool and it showed the two rack toms in the usual position so I would guess an electric set and acoustic set is probable. Doesn't he reduce his kit and change layout for acoustic stuff?
As for what I would like them to play... I like it when they rework their songs to fit the medium so if they could do something with Sleeps, Hero, Un2, My Friend Of Misery.... that would be cool

I was gonna make a setlist prediction but they have too big of an acoustic repertoire at this point. I'm really really hoping for an acoustic tour when they reach Medicare age, I love all of those covers they do.
I hope they give Brother in Arms by Dire Straits another shot, they haven't done that one since Bridge School '07. Also crossing my fingers for Hero of the Day, that one would sound great with the expanded band, especially for the backing vocals.

I feel like we're going to get a really awesome new cover tonight. And I have a feeling (based on nothing) they recorded some new covers along with the new album. Maybe that's because the production reminds me of Garage Inc, who knows.
