Acoustic Inamorata is pretty much guaranteed IMO, You Must Burn could work well also, so they'll probably go with an acoustic Lux Aeterna and Sleepwalk My Life Away 😂
Would love Hero of the Day U3 Harvester of Sorrow
As for covers Astronomy - BOC Tangerine - Zeppelin Little Wing - Hendrix People are Strange - The Doors

Nice to see another acoustic show. Honestly the most exciting stuff nowadays. Huge fan of what they did with It's Killing Me, Borderline, and House of the Rising Sun. Mark my words, I’ll be there 2026. Can’t wait to see what they whip up this year. I can hear an acoustic Chasing Light working pretty well. Stop it

It’s guaranteed to sound awesome I’ve played Burn a few times as well I reckon that one would sound cool as well. Lux will sound as shitty as Hardwired did 😅

Here's my two cents:
If they are going to do heavier tracks, they need to re-work them for acoustic. Heroes and AWMH sound great because they substantially re-wrote them. No one wants to hear Chasing Light album version played on acoustics.

When I say Chasing Light I mean, imagine that main riff slowed down like 25% with a pedal steel player doing a swell behind it. That would be sick (I know they only did that 8 piece band in 2018 but I hope they bring it back this year).

Ronnie! That would sound great acoustafied.
Me personally, I hate both versions of AWMH. I don't know, they just make me sick and piss me me off.
Disposable, Blackened 2020, and boogie Woogie Creeping Death were awesome.
I'm really hoping they drop the NEMs and Turn the pages, those kind of worn out ones, no one needs to hear those again.

The highlights for me are always the covers. They make me want another Garage album so bad. Even if it's just studio versions of the live covers they've done in the past, that would be incredible to me.

Yeesh, I didn't realize how much the samples were leaned on in these live releases. The snare sample is triggered by mistake at 1:37 because of the loud tom fill, and it's LOUD.

I don't think he's going back down to hit the snare once, looks like he's doing a long roll on the toms, just super loudly.

Seeing these boys on Sunday, wahoo! Gonna take an internet break so I don’t get tonight spoiled in case they switch the night one/night two slots around like they’ve done a couple times.

Hell yeah. That show was incredible. One of the loudest shows I've ever been to from that high up. It definitely helped that we were pretty much eye line with the pillars, but holy shit do those things crank sound.
- I really lucked out with the setlist. I didn't go to night one (which tbh was a little weak in comparison?) but still got to see Screaming Suicide and Inamorata for the first time in the States. In three shows I've seen more 72S songs than any other album now. - Until It Sleeps was definitely the highlight of the show for me. I've been chasing that song for years, and they're playing it way better now than in 2008. Everyone around me really enjoyed it too. - On that last one... I see where the Metallica show is headed in the future I think. People generally were dancing more and singing along more to ballads and mid-tempo songs than the fast stuff. - Lars :( Fast stuff got really quiet at times. Lux Aeterna was not good, mostly because of him. James also struggled vocally on that one. But Lars was noticeably quiet during Lux, One, and the end of Inamorata. I don't see him keeping up with the amount of fast stuff they play for too much longer. The snare rolls in One are also super slow now. It's intentional so it doesn't sound terrible, but he can't play it fast anymore. - I get why they are still playing Moth. In the first 30 seconds I was kind of surprised it's still on the setlist, but everyone was into it. It's a great live song too, Lars really crushed that one and hit with some intensity. The pyro show really helps make it too. - Kirk! This is the first time in a long time I think I've noticed a solid improvement with him. He still made some goofy mistakes, but technical stuff was way cleaner than Boston Calling or New Jersey. Can confirm from the MetOnTour videos from this year too. He seems less tense too.
Overall, a great night. I got to the parking lot right as the downpour happened, and I guess the attendants just peached out because it was a $50 lot with nobody at the gate. So I got to chill, smoke, and listen go to some music for an hour in the car. Got to my seat right as 5FDP finished their set (meh). My friends had a blast too. The one thing we all thought was how long of a show it was for their age. It's crazy, but they really could cut 1-2 more songs and still have a respectable show. It absolutely makes it no fun to follow online when it's that short, but in person the show felt like it could've ended around Blackened or Moth.

Great stuff BMus, nice to hear a positive report of Kirk.
They need to keep their Moth chops up for when they tour down here. If they get here I expect some Hardwired selecions seeing as we missed out through all that. Moth will be 9 or 10 years old by the time its played live here. (Ouch!)

The funny thing about these sets is how pants shit worthy they’d be on World Magnetic if you replaced the 3 72S songs with 6 DM songs. A set with Ktulu, Blackened, Sleepz, and Clover would’ve been insane. Still is, I guess. Haha, good point! I guess we're spoiled...? I certainly didn't think we were, and maybe that's a sign in itself of it being the case.

Pedal steel swells are one of the most beautiful things in music and I'm not even a huge country fan.

I know I'm just speaking as someone following stuff online, but I'm very bored of the setlists for this tour. Always knew the No Repeat concept would lead to two nearly identical setlists every weekend but it's so predictable now. Open with Creeping Death one day, Whiplash the other. One day has Orion and the other has Ktulu. The days of World Magnetic spicing it up so frequently are over, but it would be nice with some more variety.

It's insanely boring and it's been like that for more or less 10-12 years

You'd think it would be an opportunity to play songs never played live.
That said, killer performance:

You'd think it would be an opportunity to play songs never played live. That said, killer performance: Switching out Whiplash with Phantom Lord or Motorbreath to open the show now and then would be cool. But what haven't we heard yet live besides songs that no one besides a few diehards in the crowd want to see? It would be nice to rotate Hero of the Day in there or something, but I don't think anyone really cares to hear Purify or Better than You.

I am not the biggest Load fan, but I'd like to hear the four un-played from that record live: The House Jack Built Cure Thorn Within Ronnie Invisible Kid would be a fun one live I think. There are only 19 they haven't played live {not counting covers & Lulu} and when this tour started, I honestly thought that may be part of the goal, being able to say that they played them all. Very few bands, if any, can say they played every recorded song live.

Those songs would do much much better premiering at a small Filmore type show. I don't think the average audience would care or appreciate them like us weirdos over here. Most of those folks probably don't even recognize the songs from 72 Seasons besides Lux.

Even if it was, they would have edited it out of any official video. His right hand goes down to the snare. Trust me!
