This is one of the worst LiveMet mixes since the shitty, dull soundboard audio days.

The high hats with the double kick drums in this clip in the middle section and solo sound like some hot young metal drummer giving it 100%. Sounds killer on my little phone speaker. I'm really enjoying this new and mature Lars and whatever click track or mixes they're doing to sound like this.

The double kick there was pretty good. There have definitely been performances of this song where he gave up halfway through.

I can imagine Lars practicing that part on tour in '87, playing it slowed down, and James starting to chug along to the pattern with a few extras E's in there and bam! The end of One was born.

Was at that show, my friend said I hope they play it. I said no way. It was awesome

About time they got another video of this song, they've been playing it suuuuper well this year.

Annoyed they haven't played Room of Mirrors yet. That's an album highlight for me.

Rob is so cool. I felt he was, not himself in Copenhagen and that the stage setup is not doing him any favours. I still believe so but it’s so nice to see him having fun. Also he is loving the heavy stomping shit.
He kinda looks like he should be in Korn in this clip lol

I just hope they burn that stage after this tour and never speak of it again.

I just hope they burn that stage after this tour and never speak of it again. Seconded. That stage is the worst they've ever had.

A good idea would be to bring back the simple but effective setup from the summer of 1994 and 2000: As for in the round, everything they used between the DM tour to the WorldlWired tour worked fine.

Next two shows are festivals, so we get to be excited over when they play Enter Sandman and which 72 Seasons songs they choose.

One thing about the concerts I forgot to mention earlier: the merchandise. Why oh why does Metallica's merch have to be so goddamn awful? I had zero interest in anything there, especially with those horribly high prices. For such a big and popular band they sure as hell have terrible taste in merch art.

Lol. So there's this India guy who runs a store at a shopping centre near me that sells a bunch of traditional Indian clothing etc. At the entrance to his store he has a bunch of knock off band shirts that have for example the MOP shirt but Yoda is in the background holding up the puppet strings, or Maiden shirts that just look off with the colours or something. I've bought a few shirts there because occasionally he does have something that isn't ugly or completely ridiculous.
Anyways, this guy just started to display all the ugly ass 72 Seasons merch that's been going around since release. He has the robot toy one, and a few others. They are legit though! Not knock off bootlegs like most of the other shirts he sells. He must have got a good deal from a bulk seller or something who just needed to desperately unload all this shity merch that isn't moving.

They played Am I Evil with Brian Tatler tonight!
They’re also playing the same festival again Saturday. I’m sure they’ll play again, maybe another song? It’s Electric??

It's weird seeing them play Am I Evil now, I don't know why though. I thought that song died after the Big 4 shows. Have they played it since besides this show? Also, what a dead ass freaking crowd. Like " Who are these Metallica guys?"

All times the full version too. Before that they were playing the half version in 2018

Dang this is a good performance. Kirk nailed the solo. The double bass sounds great too.

Officially got tickets to 8/4! Just grabbed the cheapest I could find with some friends, and I’m skipping the Friday show this time. Hopefully I’ll get Room of Mirrors *or* Inamorata.

So I just saw this video of the boys playing Am I Evil? in Norway with Brian Tatler. This festival version of the stage is SO MUCH BETTER than the center ring. They should've definitely done the whole tour with this stage setup.

I'll still maintain that the band doesn't love playing on the stage either based on how they talk about it in interviews.

Would have been cooler if they played Helpless or It's Electric, but I guess it was a last minute inclusion and they went with the safe crowd pleaser.

The funny thing about these sets is how pants shit worthy they’d be on World Magnetic if you replaced the 3 72S songs with 6 DM songs. A set with Ktulu, Blackened, Sleepz, and Clover would’ve been insane. Still is, I guess.

Nice to see another acoustic show. Honestly the most exciting stuff nowadays. Huge fan of what they did with It's Killing Me, Borderline, and House of the Rising Sun.

Mark my words, I’ll be there 2026. Can’t wait to see what they whip up this year. I can hear an acoustic Chasing Light working pretty well.
