= a shitty stage design. Yes if you walk around the stage then you feel somewhat connected to the show, but for everyone that wants to be just a little close to the stage, you 
are completely fucked.

Hmm, that's a bit sad that the crowd didn't react well to the new songs. I know it's rare that they go crazy for live debuts because most are just sucking them in for the first time.
From the vids it seemed like the crowd was pretty much into both Shadows and Too far gone ? It even sounded like the crowd sang along during TFG ?

Watched some clips and I feel like James was struggling on the vocals this weekend. Hopefully it gets better over the course of this leg.

It is almost time here in Montreal! One more sleep, but the fireworks Metallica show is tonight, should be awesome. I will film it and post it around midnight.

Hopefully Shadows Follow and Too Far Gone show up. I'd shit my pants if they played Mirrors or Inamorata. Anything else I'll enjoy. I'm hoping for Spit out the Bone since they played Moth here last time and Lars is like that, and they were rehearsing it the other day.

I still have DM Tour brainrot. At the end of Seek I keep expecting James to say "Did you have fun tonight??"

Until It Sleeps is back, which is great. And hey, they played a Hardwired song that isn't Moth. That's something. Generally I wish they'd be more adventurous with that album and DM especially.

Good morning! What a fucking awesome night 1.
So much to unpack right now, my head is still spinning from last night. Was my first time going truely solo to a Metallica show and I was totally cool with that. I had my own little adventures and had so much fun.

My seat was literally the last row in the stadium, I could touch the back wall, but my view was 100× better than I expected and the 2 seats next to my right were empty followed by no seats for about 25 feet before the seats started again, so I had my own personal little balcony you could say. My seat was also right in front of the stairs so I had no seats infront of me and lots of leg room. Walk up all the stairs and bam, there's my seat, easy to find and I didn't have to crawl over anyone. The 2 guys on my left were from Columbia and we chit chatted a bit between sets. No one was really smoking near me but I was in section 420! Lol so I got the party started and smoked so many J's over the night and had no problems with that or my cigarettes. Since I was in the last row I had this nice trench thing behind my seat to throw all my buts and beer cans. I got nice and shit faced, danced, sang along stomping around. Was awesome, we had a party up there and the vibe was exactly what I needed.

Skipped out on the first Wolfgang act or whatever that was and hung around the corridors drinking and checking out the ladies 🥴

Pantera fucking killed it, was so heavy, and their whole set was in the darkness since we have a roof and no outside light to ruin the strobe lights that go with those double bass drums. Amazing set and on point. A dream come true.

After the Pantera set, I went for a piss and to grab some more beers. I was hanging out in the corridors and this fucking gorgeous lady, that looked like Courtney Cox in her glory days came right up to me and started chatting me up. She was pretty toasted and was flirting like mad with, she was at the show with her daughter and her ex husband 🤣 they had bought their tickets before they separated but still came together for the kid. Little did they know she was outside trying to get me to do some bad stuff in her panties🤣
She pulled me close and was all like, "I want to kiss you" and stuff in that sexy french accent and that's when I had to slam on the breaks and be like "I'm really flattered but I'm married and I need to respect that while also telling her that she was so hot and that if I was single I'd fucking wreck her" this got her even more wild😎
Our chemistry was fucking lit and it took all of my will power to suppress my caveman urges. She was ready to drag me to a dark corner some where and show her ex up. I compromised and let her give me A big milfy hug and I told her nice things and that maybe in another universe we were ment to be together or some shit like that. I thanked her for making me feel young and relevant again before taking off to my seat for Metallica. Maybe I'll see her again Sunday since we are right in the same section 😂

Metallica were fire 🔥 and played such a great set. I avoided setlist spoilers so when they busted out Hardwired I was blown away. Such a kick ass song, so much energy. No major fuck ups that I could notice, things got a little jumbled sounding here and there during crazy sections of some songs like at the end of Day that Never Comes etc. But they played with lots of great energy. The house was loud as Hell, what a crowd. I wish tomorrow night was tonight 😂 but I'll enjoy the day of rest. That milf though, that is an ever lasting memory I will cherish right there😜

God will know, and I will know. But that little devil on my shoulder wanted to party "hard". I said be gone Satan! And walked away😂 yes, I am kicking myself, but way less than had I acted, I wouldn't be able to take that back.
