Hey all,
Longtime fan here - 10 times seeing the boys.
I am super tempted to cough up and go for snake pit.
It’s a lot of cash I know, but I have always wanted to do it just once; and with the two shows for one deal this time around it seems like a no brainer!
To those who took the plunge before - is it worth it?
How likely is SP to sell out in the fifth member pre sale?

A new good thing is the reduced prices for kids under 16. I guess that is progress. Usually kids under 12 are free at the outdoor shows here, but full price if there is seating, so it's nice to see this move as a parent.
Buy the SP pass if you can, it'll be the best show experience ever. Just make sure you have a buddy with you to hold your spot while you go piss and stuff.

I'm going to try tomorrow, it's a long shot, but fuck it, maybe it won't be so pricey (LoL) I saw that they're playing our Olympics Stadium, it was here that James blew up and the capicity is around 52,000, so if tomorrow fails and I can't get cheap nose bleeds, I'll try again in January, or who knows maybe even before that for a 2 day pass.
Has anyone got any info if there will be another presale deal for the January 20th batch?

possibility to buy snake pit tix today, as a normal admission ticket. Didn't get any though.

Anyone want a standing single day ticket for Paris show 2 (19 May 2023). I booked travel & hotel to attend show 1 not realising you had to buy for both. Just want cost price £115 Euro. Ticket is PDF. I'm a genuine fan. 👍

Damn, couldn't get a ticket. I had what you could say was the best cheapest ticket, $115, but my Credit card would not process. Was expecting that, so not really shocked. It was a long shot. (Damn you Xmas shopping!!! Oh well. I'll try again on or before the Jan 20 batch.

So 2 nights with no repeats.
We can assume that each night, 5 new songs will get played, so that leaves 1 song from each previous album (including Garage Inc) if it's a 16 song set each night. So my guess is
KEA Seek or Whiplash
RTL Creep or Bells
MOP MOP or Sanitarium
AJFA ONE or Harvester
TBA Roam or Sandman
Load King Nothing or Sleeps
ReLoad Fuel or Memory
Garage Inc. Whiskey or Turn the Page
St Anger Frantic or Dirty Window
DM Cyanide or TEOTT
HWTSD Moth or Hardwired
Seems about right. I didn't include the fast classic openers like Battery because hopefully they will leave that energy for the new fast songs. I don't think the sets will change from city to city, maybe swap around songs from one night to another at the most.

For this day and age of Metallica, my absolute dream for this tour would be to have every album represented one at least over each weekend. They've gone months without a Load/St. Anger/Death Magnetic song on the setlist at different times.
I'd guess the most by the books dream sets I could think of would be something like:
1. New Song both nights
2. New Song both nights
3. Wherever I May Roam/Memory Remains
4. King Nothing/Ride the Lightning
5. New Song both nights
6. No Leaf Clover/The Unforgiven
7. Frantic/Whiplash
8. Sad But True/Devil's Dance
9. New Song both nights
10. Bellz/Harvester of Sorrow
11. Moth Into Flame/Cyanide
12. Fade/Sanitarium
13. Seek/Creeping Death
14. Cover song both nights (starting to miss this part of World Magnetic)

That was harder to do than I thought, wow. These might turn out to be really cool sets. I just realized they've never done this two set thing (besides the anniversary) without playing The Black Album in full last year.

Been a few years since I posted here. Not gonna lie.
I do have a question if somebody can answer it?
I paid a ridiculous amount of money for 4 tickets in the Snake Pit in Arlington TX.
It is a two day pass.
That is all I know. Bought the tickets on StubHub as I usually do.
I'm assuming it is Snake Pit for both Concerts. ?
Do I get in early? Can I go to the Black Box for drinks?

And from the sound of it, the Snake pit is redesigned. So I'll have to wait and get some vibes from posters in earlier venues.
