Time for new single to drop I agree, people have no attention spans these days. Lux is old news now. They need to keep the hype going. I still expect the new single to drop right before single day tickets go on sale. The next single hopefully is something much deeper and richer than Lux Aeterna. |

The gap between Lux and album release date is a weird call in this day and age.
Too many options around for everyone to expect interest to be maintained for that long. Will feel like an old song by the time its brothers and sisters are heard.
I'd be happy to not see another single (happy for fresh live debut though). I barely glanced at the tracklist, I dont want to know song titles. Would rather an album drop as a 100% surprise, dont need to be fed little pieces of info in an attempt to excite

I was listening to Beyond Magnetic the other day and forgot just how many kick ass riffs teased the fuck out of us, only to NOT be used on DM. That part in Hate Train that's sort of like the main riff from No Remorse... So good.
Yeah, like I said 2 posts up, Lux Aeterna is old news already in this day and age. Wouldn't surprise me if it gets replaced on the album with another song, and becomes like the flagship B side that Lord's of Summer became, especially now that someone informed James that he pronounced Lux wrong on the studio version and he corrected himself live.

Bunch of freaks on the other board are saying that it's pronounced Looks Aeterna in Latin instead of Lux Aeterna, and that James pronounced it as "looks" at the show. Ktulu/Cthulhu the sequel.
Could be BS, but when you're so secretive about a project, and no one is around to edit you before you hit"upload", shit happens 🤷🏻♂️

I was and still am surprised by the gap between announcement and release. Hardwired wasn't as long and that was six years ago. I assume we'll get at least 2-3 more tracks before launch.
