Horror movie thread. Sig's October Month of Horror. Watching a horror movie every day of the month (or play horror games if you fancy that) I try to pull this off if I can, haven't been able to be dedicated hard to it for some years, but this was a long running tradition for me. Tis the season. Post about horror movies or games or anything horror related. I just watched All Hallow's Eve and Terrifier. The 'Art the Clown' series. (why is the clown the only good actor in these movies?)  |

I watched that clown movie a while ago while bored one night, the one that happens in an abandoned wearhouse or something (the first one?). It was alright. A lot of "why the fuck are they doing that instead of..."

I used to love the Amityville Horror, Halloween and Friday 13th movies when I was younger.
I also remember Silent Night Deadly Night being popular at Xmas

I remember being a wee lad, around 9, and my sister and her friends watched Hellraiser 2. The part when the skinless lady rises out of the bloody mattress really messed with my head. Afterwards, I went to bed with my walkman and was listening to the B Side of Justice, it was still new and unfamiliar to me at the time. Harvester came on, and those creepy groaning sounds during the intro just brought back the Hellraiser visuals in my thoughts and sent me back down that path of anxiety. Now every time I listen to Harvester still after 30 years, I see that creepy Lidia(?) Skinless lady rising from the blood soaked mattress. 😱
