Yeah, the original cover had a strong "unauthorized, non-official, cheap and easy" feel to it. The new one looks really neat.

The first one was a joke. The new one looks like it was knocked up in ten minutes with Adobe.

Not a big fan of the new cover either, but it's fine. Nothing real offensive about it.
I didn't mind the old cover; it definitely seemed like someone put a lot of work into it, and I kind of like some of the details in it. It's just kind of weird as a book cover; it's a touch too busy. Could work all right as artwork inside the book though, or maybe the back cover.

I'm probably going to buy this as long as it's not too expensive (£30-£40 max). I don't really buy Metallica merch (apart from the music) but this is something pretty special, will look great on a bookshelf.

I liked the first one personally. More artistic and detailed. The mop cover is too predictable and cliche. The other one is different.
