Either the whole "Lars is using a metronome live now" thing is bogus or he was just really excited last night, but I listened up until Orion and he was definitely speeding up and down as usual. Especially Sanitarium, way too fast. Didn't sound like the other performances they've done this year. If they played Fixxxer, maybe they'll play Ronnie on Sunday haha.

After a nights sleep, I'm cool with the set. In the moment it was meh, but looking back it was actually quite cool. It was free for us after all, had I traveled half way across the globe I'd probably be annoyed though.
Hopefully night 2 is changed up a bit.

It's funny, when you turn 30, it's like you go on a weekend bender with all your best friends, hitting up all your favourite bars, making a lot of noise, ripping up the town.
You turn 40, and maybe you get a steak dinner with the wife and kids down at your local grill house, and order the safe appetizers you know off the menu by heart, and avoid the spicy chicken wings you know will give you major heart burn for the next few days.

When tickets for this went on sale, was it like everyone got a set for both shows? Or you had the option for one night only? If it was 2 nights for everyone, then no one gets shafted if it's a completely different kind of show, like night one was the history show and night 2 is the moving forward show 🤓
