I'm pretty sure the red X's indicate that that particular song is completely finished, and it doesn't look like there were any more rows going down the board. I could be way off, but it seems to me like mixing and/or mastering might be done. I think its safe to say 2016 confirmed.

I can see Metallica going one of two ways with this one: either they're doing a sudden surprise release with no prior advertisement, or the album is going to come out next year (as I've predicted for a while). The lack of information or hype is very concerning.

Both are wrong, it will come out in October or November and hype will start building at the Minneapolis gig when they premiere a new song. After that it will start to roll out with all the info we crave

They're streaming but its on pandora which as far as I know is a music only streaming site.....no video so we might not be able to watch the show.....

Stop caring. There is more to life that wishing for an album. Put it out of your mind and it'll be much easier to just no care. That doesn't mean you're less of a fan. It's just completely pointless waiting and hoping. Just forget about it and time will pass much quicker.
