Great news. I've pretty much had the new album on the periphery of mind due it taking so long, but now that it's nearing completion I'm starting to get a bit hyped (much like Zalman above).

I really hope so Mastodude, i'm kinda worried if it's gonna be any good though. The only thing to worry about is Lars is feeling nutty and spunky at the same time. |

I wouldn't mind waiting, say 2 years for this album considering I literally just got into them a few months ago. But I do understand the struggle of waiting for the rest of you, and I don't really mind not waiting.

It's crazy to remember what you were doing 8 years ago when Metallica last put out a Metallica Studio Album Of Original Material. Not including Lulu which is a collaboration.
I've moved countries TWICE.

This is great news, I better start putting spare cash into a can so that when the tour dates are given I won't have to scramble. Every time I see them live, I tell myself that this may be the last time I get to see them because you just never know, where as with this tour, I really feel like I have to see them because the end seems closer everyday now. I hope there are more albums, I don't want to be one of those non-believers, but shit, by the time this album comes out, they tour it for a few years and then take another couple of years to make a new one, well shit, time is running out you know.

That RS interview with Lars got me thinking in reference to the "in your face" thing, as if there would be more than one album coming out, or maybe other releases alongside the album we haven't heard of yet?

Starting first of June, it's summer. Will the album be done/out by then? I doubt it, it can happen, but my guess is it'll take longer.

No, the album won't be out in June. For a lot of bands, it's 6 months after recording is done before it comes out.
