According to the German newspaper Bild the album will be released on October 12. No confirmation of that info from Metallica yet though.

Not sure why it matters. They've said Autumn
If it's true then Oct 14 comes under Autumn.
If not then it's out before December any ways.
Oct 14 is probably an educated guess.
Based on 4 months of promo etc from June.

Hmh. My birthday is Oct 3, so maybe a single release for birthday present? Anyhow, it indeed seems like they are going to make it this year. Never believed it, but I'm glad if I'm wrong.
Now only if the album would be decent! Although at this point, I'll settle for "vaguely listenable".

October sounds about right. If they finished mixing and mastering in late June / early July.
September would be preferable obviously.

Well, I just got a huge tax return. Putting some cash on the side for concert tickets and whatever deluxe package the new album comes in. Didn't they ship DM right to your door on release day? Or was that something else recently? Lulu?
