The official statement

Finnish guitar legend Alexi Laiho, most famous for Children of Bodom, has died at age 41. He had had health issues for a few years.

I followed Bodom's career from the very beginning, since their first single in 1997. I saw them live several times, including their last show ever. They were one of my favorite bands from day one.

This hurts me more than Dime or Lemmy. Far more.
