This seems pretty awesome I'm seeing Neurosis life at Amplifest 2016 in August, and Mono and Anna von Hausswolff are the only other names announced so far, so I guess I'm giving them a go too. (Steve von Till will play his solo stuff but that's Extended Experience tickets for the Friday and Monday surrounding the main event of the weekend, and I didn't get those tickets)

Found the album to be a mixed bag. At times it's great, at others pretty dull.

Found the album to be a mixed bag. At times it's great, at others pretty dull. Giving it another go, maybe the song order affects that. There's the short "The Hope Only of Empty Men": then "Pomperipossa" that seem to be building up into something, then it ends somewhat abruptly and there's to big a silence/gap into "Come Wander with me/Deliverance" which begins with droning and seems somewhat an anticlimax of a transition considering the ending of "Pomperipossa". Overall I think this is quite interesting music, though there's a sensation the short songs are not fully fleshed out and so end up feeling like interludes, and so they shouldn't be put together in the running order.
