More info here: www.metallica.com/awmh/So. Let's begin. What songs would we LIKE to hear and what songs WILL we hear. AWMH is a given as is NEM. I guess Blackened 2020 too. I'd *really* like them to re-work some of their original material..... maybe My Friend of Misery might sound cool in an acoustic vibe. I'd also like Brothers In Arms to make a return, the 07 version(s) send shivers down my spine. Thoughts?

Agreed on Brothers In Arms - day 2 from the 07 shows was amazing.
This will be 10 / 11pm UK time so I might do this for my live Metallica fix this year.
When James went back into rehab I had a horrible feeling that they might never come back, and then the pandemic caused everything to shut down, so it's just great to see them back performing together again.

I'm hoping for Low man's lyric, Hero of the day and Mama said.

Yeah, Misery, Hero, Day Never Comes, Low Man's Lyric or Mama Said would be sweet. What about TLITD? Sanitarium? A medley?
I'd like some Van Halen tribute too.
And a re-work of a song off St.Anger: Unnamed Feeling, Sweet Amber, Shoot Me Again, Dirty Window, Insvible Kid, SKOM, or Purify.
Blackened 2020 will surely get played.

I want to buy the 15$ ticket but our f*cked up economy won't let me do it because it equals 120 bucks in my country

I'd bust a nut if they played all these in the set.
- Blackened - Until it Sleeps - Brothers in Arms - AWMH - Hero of Day - U3 - Disposable Heroes

I could afford it but, honestly, I don't wanna give the government in Argentina any more taxes. There's all kinds of obstacles in our economy when you buy overseas here since late 2019, apart from the fact that our currency is suffering yet another devaluation. I still have my ticket to the Lollapalooza show -- whenever it happens.

They should cover Deep Purple - Solider of Fortune. I was thinking for a second that maybe they had, so I had to look up to remember, but I was thinking of Opeth, and of Met doing When a blind man cries.

An acoustic version of Astronomy would be cool.

Blackened For Whom The Bell Tolls [Van Halen cover here] The Four Horsemen [Garage Inc. cover] Moth Into Flame Outlaw Torn [Garage Inc. cover] Master of Puppets Nothing Else Matters Enter Sandman All Within My Hands
Something like that probably.

I hope you're right, but I can't see them doing it acoustic.

Harvester would make a cool hillbilly acoustic jam.

Anyone checking this out? I've spent tons on Metallica this year with the S&M box set but I'm yearning for a high quality, new concert to watch.

Yeah they should really be giving us a free download of the show. Maybe they will?

Yeah they should really be giving us a free download of the show. Maybe they will? Doubt it as it's to raise money for the charity. No doubt there will be a vinyl release though.

I bought it whether it's 125 bucks for me or not. It's a once in a lifetime event and I don't want to miss this exclusive show.

But if I listened to on youtube or downloaded off torrent websites, it'd be no different from a regular bootlegs. Then why pay for spotify or buy mp3s if you can get it for free? Hardwired is almost 200 bucks in my country.

And an ultra super D boxset, just so they can push the black album boxset release even further. Speaking of S&M 2, that hype sure died down quickly.

I opened my S&M2 box on the weekend. Watched the BluRay. Cant believe those split screens on Bellz made it thru to the finished product. Even weirder is that it doesnt happen at any other point, only that song.
Tell you what though, that version of Anaesthesia is sick, so good. That got a replay as soon as the show finished.

I saw S&M in the cinema and have spun the album abotu 2-3 times. Haven't gone back to it since about 2 weeks after it was released. I can see why they did this project, but it doesn't really do anything for me tbh. I loved HTSD and I cannot wait to get the TBA box so I'm not so much of a legacy fan more.... dunno... just thought S&M2 was ok I guess. It makes a nice addition to the collection. Tell you what though, that version of Anaesthesia is sick, so good. That got a replay as soon as the show finished. This. The absolute highlight of the show.

Let's just all agree that S&M 2 was a complete wasted opportunity. It could have been epic. If in 10 years they do S&M 3 Grandpa Edition, do different songs to the previous two shows ya fools.
