The only new thrash band I liked, only got two records out.
Riley Gale, 34. Died in his sleep (most likely drugs, they haven't said what it was)
Probably one of the best sounding festival live recordings I've heard...

I'll admit they flew under my radar (happening way too often for my liking) but these awful news seem to have picked up a lot of attention from "normal" media, NPR, Fox News, the Guardian...

Really sad that he die so young, that's just awful. I had actually never even heard of the band before Gale died, and just checked them out yesterday... Let's just say that I wish I could have my 20 minutes back. The songs I listened were not very good.
