am I the only one that doesn't like Miley's voice? hearing her sing NEM makes me cringe and laugh this is an emotional song and yet she manages to turn it into a comedy  I just don't think she does it justice. |

I don't know if anyone noticed, but I found it funny that amongst all the live stuff in the box set they have the Harvester of Sorrow that they fucked up live in Graz. Hahaha.

A bit surprised in a glad way about how much of a prominent role James took in this interview, compared to the usual dynamic in their band interviews. Cool as well to hear more about James' beautiful reaction to Elton John's praise for Nothing else matters.

I think they might actually stop releasing box sets like this after TBA. 'The first 5' are more saleable like this I think. Idk about the rest. I can't see them doing a St. Anger box set. |

Yes, anything post black album would have been over filmed/documented, lots of leftover stuff from demos and recording etc.
I look forward to these box sets the most. There must be a huge pile for them to sift through, as opposed to hunting down fan bootlegs and footage from TV stations that burned down to the ground 30 years ago.

I'm surprised there's not more talk here about the boxset...I'm nerding out like a giddy school girl over on the other forum. The early mixes sound so fucking good, the various takes, the riff tapes...there's so much awesome shit to listen to. Plus Moscow 1991 and all the other live shows. Get amongst it fellas. Because only 3 people here bought it I guess. I’m nerding hard with a friend of mine, though only through youtube/Spotify |

Which I can assume means 44.1khz 16 bit from 9/25/19. Dang, this thing was ready to be released for a long while.

The riff tapes and works in progress are pretty cool. Some of those drum machine beats had me laughing, they sound like the shity recordings I made when I was 13. turned into the best selling metal record of all time🥳
