I think it's time for another covers album.

I'd like to see them capitalise on how good Hardwired was and make another album soon, with the same songwriting process

I think it's time for another covers album. there are several Johnny Cash songs I'd love for them to cover. '25 Minutes To Go' 'Cocaine Blues' and 'A Boy Named Sue'

I have no idea how 'A Boy Named Sue' ever became a hit and remained popular!
I'd consider tearing my ears off if James ever recorded that song.

I wouldn't cry if they released a studio acoustic album. I know they've got the live one but a studio one would be cool. Recoird some of the covers already played live for disc 1 then do a second disc of covers and Metallica songs, re-imagined acoustically.
YES!

I'd rather see a group effort poured into another kickass album. They're so much a family now, I don't think they'd even know what to do with a solo effort.

Lars was babbling on at some conference that if the lock down goes on, they are looking to start a new album/project from remote locations, or possibly head into HQ if at some point that option is possible.
A few new songs, or a whole quarantine album...🥳
