A sad day indeed. He was like ever Metallica fans long lost dad/friend. He will be missed.
I hope James puts out some sort of statement, he'll say something at the funeral I imagine, unless he's still in really bad shape.

On a lighter note, official rehearsals for Megadeths big return was posted today. Once again, Dave's big day is overshadowed LOL.
Honestly, I'm in tears right now for Ray. Don't know why, was never a huge Ray guy like some people are. Just life the past few weeks has been overwhelming me and this news was just the fucking icing. Never new the guy, never met him, but I could feel so much love from that guy, human to human. It's just sad. Another piece of the Metallica story gone forever.
He fucking shined like few do. Bless his soul.
