For Marie
Joe Satriani, a longer version of 'Always With Me Always With You' from 2006 just epic.

i think i post this in every thread like this but this performance is SICK. sonically it's perfect in every way, rock and roll music at it's visceral and vivacious peak innit. it's also a great fucking pop song.
this could've been a total disaster - minimalistish swans meets the fall noise rock outdoors - but instead it was very very very good
nels cline is the boy and that guitar solo is the biz
lcd are/were the best. the latter song, like the wolf like me clip, is good because it is a good way of dropping boring interlude bits of songs for MAX IMPACT. dance yrself clean was like the best song of the decade and this version, from what was supposed to be their live show, is great. james murphy also sounds like kermit ian curtis.
LAVELY. they sound SO HUGE in this performance and george clark's amazing spaces' vocals are cracking
this one is scrappy but good but fitting scrappy i think and that makes it amazing

this isn't even very good but it makes me miss hardcore and noise shows and the general chaos of those
also reminiscent of the godawful lunchtime shows my pals and i would put on in the drums rooms at school lol
bbc uploaded a remastered version of this the other day for some reason. at the drive-in on jools holland was the finest experiment in jazz and noise music ever:

Moloko doing pure pleasure seeker live. Roìsin is sexy as fuck in this! This whole concert is well worth a watch and uploaded in very very good quality.
I've been on a big Roìsin and moloko binge all this year. Her albums production are always 👌

John McGeoch is a underrated guitarist and the only guy I can think of to come close is Robert Smith. This is an amazing performance.

Hiromi is one of the most talented contemporary jazz fusion pianists. She is incredibly gifted as a composer too. I'd say she also has a very proggy rock edge besides jazz and fusion in her musical phrasing.
This solo piano is piece is the opening song of her latest album.

the fact that there's only four of them is staggering. it's not because you can clearly here only four instruments and voice but the depth of sound that they make is something else.
