Some great Foreign Language Films: Cyrano de Bergerac, Pan's Labyrinth, Seven Samurai. I watched Cyrano de Bergerac long time ago but I remember loving it and it wasn't broadcasted afterwards. Though I love Gerard Depardieu as an actor and I was fascinated by Les Misérables, it's one of my favorites stories growing up.
