I'm not even worried about a remastered DM. I've listened to every enhanced version since its release hoping to be more satisfied. It made me settle for "it is what it is"
I haven't listened to any DM songs in a long time anyway.
If anything, I'd like to buy a record player and listen to vinyle again.

DM's production doesn't bother me. Again, I have the iTunes remaster, so it's not much of a problem and when it is I just turn the music down and it's less clippy.

I think 2017 is most likely as a release date, they need at least another year to finish recording.

It will come out on Sept. 27, the 30 year mark of Cliffs death.

In my opinion - the iTunes master of Death Magnetic is much warmer. Plus you can hear way more cymbals.
I found that it doesn't get tiresome listening to it like the CD version. It's fatter too as a result.
The guitar tone isn't much better but overall it's much easier on the ear.

In my opinion - the iTunes master of Death Magnetic is much warmer. Plus you can hear way more cymbals. And bass. Somehow cutting away all the digital distortion has allowed the bass to come through in the mix. 'twas the first thing I noticed about the remaster.

I was listening to it with good headphones and just noticed how much nicer it was to listen to.

Yeah. I have a copy of "Cyanide" that I bought from the original and not the remaster and when I put it on my playlist, there was a huge difference from after All Nightmare Long. Huge.

Which will happen first? New album vs. Jesus's 2nd coming...?
I'm surprised their aren't bets being made yet....

A fake Kirk interview is needed.
